Glen Rose is perhaps one of Texas’ best kept secrets.
Be sure to take a look around Glen Rose and consider this easy-to-shoot community as a location for your next project!
A beautiful historic courthouse square off the major highway offers shops, dining and entertainment in season.
Glen Rose is known as Dinosaur Capitol of the World for the plentiful and easy to identify dino footprints in the bed of the Paluxy River. Best viewed at Dinosaur State Park and private property along the shallow riverbed. A section of the Paluxy River Dinosaur Footprints are on display at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
To the west of Glen Rose on Highway 67 is Fossil Rim Wildlife Refuge. Take a drive-thru tour of the wildlife park and get up close and feed protected exotic game from around the world.
Beyond the Festival you’ll want to make some time to see some of the sights and experiences the Glen Rose area has to offer.
